Born and raised in Ottawa, David has spent more than two decades in residential construction working on a wide range of high-value homes across the region. His background provides an in-depth understanding of how homes are built, how they perform over time, and where potential issues are most likely to develop.

A significant part of his career has been dedicated to navigating Ontario's new home warranty program (TARION), including the conciliation process used to resolve disputes between homeowners and builders.
This experience provides a thorough and practical understanding of what Tarion's Construction Performance Guidelines mean in plain terms, and how each stage of the warranty timeline (from the initial inspection through to mid-year and year-end submissions) fits together.
