Each property is quoted individually and reflects the size, age, and complexity.

・Attic, Insulation, and Ventilation (includes thermal imaging)

While home inspections are visual and non-invasive in nature, every measure is taken to identify defects and signs of hidden problems.

・Anything concealed inside of walls
・Areas beneath finished surfaces
・Spaced that are blocked off or inaccessible
・Property or boundary lines -
Of course!
In fact, we highly encourage that you attend in person so that you can ask questions in real-time and see first hand what is being assessed.
If you can’t attend in person, the inspection can still proceed as planned.
Video walk throughs are available. -
The home inspection report will provide an initial summary of the property.
Following the summary are detailed findings structured by category with photos for reference.
The inspection is written in easy to understand language to ensure you have the most recent data available to make an informed decision. -
Every finding is rated by condition (serviceable, requires maintenance, repair or safety) and noted clearly in the report, so it is easy to see what needs attention and how urgently.
Where something is of major concern, a second opinion from a specialist will be recommended.
While the inspection report can be used to request repairs or negotiate the price with the seller before closing, the decision to proceed with purchasing a residential property always remains with the client. -
Although it’s not required, speaking from first hand experience working for builders, it is highly recommended.
An inspection conducted by an independent third party allows for deficiencies, installation errors, and missing items that are easy to overlook at possession to be identified.Whether you’re seeking assistance within the first year of warranty (PDI, Initial, Mid-Year, Year-End), have reached your Two-Year or Seven-Year structural timeline, or are seeking oversight at each milestone, Stonecliffe Inspections has various services to fit your needs.
